This camp is also suitable for intermediate fencers with a club fencing background. Simple and complex attacks, defensive strategies, and bouting tactics are developed further in this session. Fencers should bring snack, lunch, and water.AFC's summer camps offer fun and challenge to young fencers of all skill levels. Fencers learn footwork, bladework, fencing tactics and strategy, as well as fencing rules, protocol, and history. Camp sessions combine games, drills, and bouting to develop both fencing skill and fitness, with a focus on safety and good sportsmanship.- Maximum 20 fencers per camp.- Minimum 8 fencers per camp. If fewer than 8 participants are registered for a camp three weeks prior to the first day of camp, a session may be canceled, and registration fees will be fully refunded.- All equipment is provided.- Fencers should wear a T shirt, sweatpants (no shorts), and sport shoes to camp.
